How we use automated tools

To reply faster, messages sent to us (through the contact form or by email) are read by an AI assistant that sorts them — for example into support or business enquiries — writes a short summary, and prepares a draft reply. A person reads every message and approves every reply before anything is sent. We do not make any decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers ("processors") who handle information only on our instructions:

We may also share information if the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as our accountant.

International transfers

Some of these providers (for example Google, Anthropic and Discord) are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where information leaves the UK we rely on the UK government's adequacy regulations (including the UK–US "data bridge" for certified companies) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to protect it.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes we will update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Our games

For younger players: this game doesn't collect any information about you. Your stars stay on your device.

This applies to every game we publish, starting with Made Fast (iPhone and iPad), unless we say otherwise here.

On your device. The game keeps only your settings (sound, vibration, left-handed layout) and, later, your stars for each harbour. They never leave your device. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no adverts, no third-party software.

Buying the full game. Made Fast is free, with one purchase that unlocks the full harbour. Apple handles the purchase and Family Sharing under its own terms and privacy policy. We never see who bought it or how they paid.

Crash reports and usage statistics. If your iPhone or iPad is set to share diagnostics and usage with app developers, Apple sends us crash reports and usage statistics. They do not tell us who you are, and we use them only to fix problems.

TestFlight betas. If you test a beta, Apple automatically shares crash logs and usage data with us (there is no opt-out while testing), plus the name and email you were invited with (or "Anonymous" via a public link), your device and OS version, and any feedback or screenshots you send. We keep tester details and feedback only to fix problems, and for no longer than 12 months.

Contacting us. Email hello@threechairsgames.com. We keep your email only as long as we need to reply, then delete it (the table above gives the period).

Children. Our games are made for families, rated 4+, and collect nothing, so there is no age gate. Under-13s cannot use TestFlight, so a child testing a beta uses a parent's device. If a child emails us, we reply briefly and ask a parent or carer to get in touch.

Children

We make games for families, but this website and our newsletter are meant for people aged 13 and over. Our games are for everyone (see Our games above). If you are under 13, please ask a parent or carer to sign up or contact us for you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

To use any of these rights, email hello@threechairsgames.com. We will reply within one month and there is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we use your information we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell newsletter subscribers by email.
